Buffalo Springfield - Artist Art Gallery - wikipedia

Buffalo Springfield, formed in Los Angeles, was a rock band active from 1966 to 1968 containing Stephen Stills (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Neil Young (guitar, harmonica, piano, vocals), Dewey Martin (drums, vocals), Bruce Palmer (electric bass), and Richie Furay (guitar, vocals). The band combined elements of folk and country music with British invasion and psychedelia influences, and, along with the Byrds, were part of the early development of the folk rock genre.

The band released three albums, and several singles including For What It's Worth. After various drug-related arrests and line-up changes, the group broke up in 1968.
